逃げ遅れる人々The Great East Japan earthquake on March 11, 2011. What has happened among the disabled in the greatest catastrophe on record? Collecting some testimonies of devastated disables and people who were concerned, with focus on the area of Fukushima Prefecture.
They are disabled and therefore cannot defend against an earthquake, tsunami and gain information they need.
"I simply can't live here", "As it takes the trouble". Many disabled couldn't help giving up to evacuate.  On the other hand, what lies in wait to disabled who stayed in a shelter? In addition, even if they moved into a temporary housing, there are much inconveniences. Disables who were left behind spent restless days in the evacuation zone where citizens disappeared by the nuclear accident. Hard days among disables who are tossed about by a great disaster and people who make every effort to factual investigation and support. When they were kept out of a place where they have lived long, and search for a new life in a place to refuge, they think of home with tears overflowing.
Tasks and problems surrounding disabled people in a stricken area, that media reports only fragmentarily, come to the front.
